Welcome

I have written a large number of poems about animals, cats, dogs, friends, love, life and nature.  I became an artists when I was fifty years old and I  painted about 450 paintings.  I felt each painting had a story to tell,  so I started to write poetry about the paintings. I now often write a poem first and then do a painting or graphic to illustrate the poetry. 

I have a large collection of poetry and I hope you enjoy reading my poems.

Life changes, goes up and down, you never know until it comes around.

There's a sunnyside of darkness, beyond the black of night. A place to feel some comfort where everything feels just right. It's not found by looking or calling on the phone. It comes from inner faith, knowing you're not alone. Poetry by Patricia Walter 2008
